I had to replace the C4 transmission in my ford and while I had it out, I decided to upgrade the torque converter as well as the flexplate and starter. After having it in the car, i do notice a significant difference. The Stall compared to stock converter is an incredible difference.

I haven't tried it but it doesn't look like there's enough room in the bell for a 157 tooth flywheel. The fellow I bought the C4 from says he thinks its from a middle seventies MustangII.
